Let's talk beauty, baby! My current essentials:

For awhile now Ive been wanting to compile a list of some of my go-to beauty products to share on the blog! What I didn't realize was how many products I love! So, I narrowed it down to a special handful of my current tried and true favorites to share:

Bumble & Bumble Prêt-à-powder (Fancy name for dry shampoo): Like most women these days, dry shampoo is a necessity. It helps get me through those mornings when Ive pushed the snooze button one (or five) too many times. I love it, even for those days when I just need a little bit of added texture in my hair. I feel like Ive tried what seems like every dry shampoo under the sun. Some have worked better than others, but what they all had in common is that they would all run out so dang fast! I feel like I was constantly having to buy a new bottle, and good quality dry shampoo that actually works is not cheap! About five years ago a coworker of mine gave me a sample of Prêt-à-powder and I haven't met another dry shampoo that comes close to this one. It works amazing, smells fab, and a bottle lasts forever! Tip: It comes in both a powder form and in spray form, both work great but Ive personally had better results with the powder one! (Click here to find on Amazon)

Makeup Eraser: So when I first saw these I thought they were too good to be true. Like ok... you're telling me that I can just put some water on a wash cloth and its going to just magically erase all of my makeup? PUHLEASE. Definitely can't be real. After seeing them on TV, the internet and other random places, I ran into a lady selling them at a holiday bazaar in Portland. She offered to let me try it, so I whipped out my makeup bag, started applying my own makeup to my hand like a crazy person so I could test it out myself. Needless to say, I left with three. They are absolutly amazing, and yes, they really actually do work! (Click here to find on Amazon)

Eco Tools Dry Brush: Exfoliating is a must for me! Especially being an airbrush artist I stress to my clients the importance of healthy exfoliation particularly before spray tanning or self tanning. I used to keep so many different exfoliating products around, but honestly I always had a hard time finding one that I loved. About a year ago I came across dry brushing. You can find them on Amazon or Target for usually under $6. The best way to use it is to start at your ankles and work your way up your body using small circles. It’s best to use right before your shower to get all the dead skin off! I wash mine with shampoo and then air dry it when Im finished. (Click here to find on Amazon)

Isle of Paradise tanning drops: When it comes to tanning I typically airbrush tan, but when Im on the go and looking for something quick I always reach for my IOP. Its also great for when I need to touch up my tan as it starts to fade! They are so insanely easy to use! You just add as many drops as you desire straight into your moisturizer before bed, and then wake up with a subtle glow or a deep tan depending on number of drops used. IOP drops come in three colors, my favorite is the Violet one but I own all three! (Click here to find on Amazon)

Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lipstick: I’m not exaggerating when I say I own over 100 lip products, Mike can attest to this... What’s crazy is out of all of them my favorite lately has been a drugstore brand that you can find at Target! One day a girlfriend of mine shared that she had just discovered Pixi by Petra and was obsessed with their lip products, so one of my besties and I went straight to Target! Personally I like putting on a little bit of clear gloss on over it so it’s not as drying, but I love how long they stay on! They have a really great color range with so many option. My two favorites at the moment are both pink-is nudes: Pastel Petal & Matte Beige. (Click here to find on Amazon)

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado: I once heard that avocado is the only food you could live off of for a whole month and still survive. I don't know if that's true, and Im not really interested in testing it out...but I have thought avocados are the bomb ever since! Avocado on my toast, avocado with my salsa, and now avocado on my face! Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment has been my go to for about a year now. Its so great for year round use and I love that it applies like a mix between a gel and a cream. I was also really impressed with the amount of product that Kiehl's gives you compared to most other face creams Ive purchased in the past. (Click here to find on Amazon)

Ive always loved trying out new beauty products, so it would be awesome to hear some of your tried & true products that you use too! Let me know if you guys try and of these! I would love to hear what you think!
